This project was conceived for a modern aesthete and art collector — someone who lives with intention, who values both form and feeling, and whose world seamlessly blends heritage with forward-looking sensibilities.
Set in a quintessential Parisian apartment, the design respects the integrity of the original architecture: ornate moldings, a carved stone fireplace, and generous ceiling height offer a classical framework. Within it, a softer, more fluid contemporary language emerges. Low-slung armchairs and sofas in creamy bouclé invite pause and reflection; their organic shapes lend a sense of intimacy and ease. The restrained palette of off-whites and natural wood tones allows texture and form to take center stage.

Art was not added — it was embedded. Large-scale paintings, graphic works, and sculptural pieces were curated not as decoration, but as essential parts of the space’s rhythm. The furnishings were chosen with similar intent: a folded metal chair, a faceted walnut coffee table, a sinuous desk seat — each element striking a balance between function and form, between the tactile and the conceptual.
